The Lutheran Association for Church Extension, Inc. (LACE), established in 1960, is a non-profit organization serving congregations of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod
[ WELS ] and the Evangelical Lutheran Synod [ ELS ] throughout the United States.
The primary purpose of LACE is to provide congregations with low cost loans. These loans can be used to refinance current mortgages; construct, expand or renovate church/school facilities; parsonage or teacherage construction; or to complete miscellaneous projects such as purchasing an organ or fixing a roof. [ LOANS ]
In addition to providing the funding for loans, LACE provides a channel through which people can purchase investments and receive annual interest payments [ INVESTMENTS ].
